This is my 4th attempt to quit smoking in the past 11 years. I am now currently 31 years of age. The longest I’ve lasted previously was 3 months, 6 months, and 2 weeks. Those three times I’ve gone cold-turkey. This time, I’ve decreased my # of cigs and now have gone to a nicorette gum during those craving times. I hope this’ll work out for me and I’ll always have a piece of gum in my wallet during those times where I crave them the most (coffee, alcohol, and stressful moments). BOL to all.

im on the 3rd day off but still want to smoke, but i can handle with willpower and this method. i am 26 and i smoke since 14. wish u all good luck, peace.

This is all such bullshit. I mean…try anything you want people. you never know. But the only thing you need to quit smoking or ANY addiction is to want to. Sure there are things that might make it less stressful or painful, but when you really want to quit you will. I not only quit smoking but a 10 year heroin habit. That was 10 years ago. Looking back all either one of them took was some real desire and some balls. That’s just MY experience. Which is all I got.

Ain’t THAT the truth!

If your dad doesnt want to u cant make him.. U have to accept that ur dad is a smoker. There is no use in fighting an addiction without the willpower of the person himself.

Good luck

I will try this.

With the New Year creeping up on us faster than most of us would like, I cant think of a better way to start off the new year than learning ways to help me help others stop smoking.

i quit smokin at age sixteen cold turkey after smoking sinse was 8… i used music and food, “plus im skinny, pleas keep that in mind lol.

Uuuhmmm… did you fail for math??? I thought as well… if you smoke one pack in 3 days then you’re paying 5*(365/3)…

thank you for this video

Hey guess what,
I had to do a smoking survey at school and we worked out that cig packs that cost $5.00 and takes an average person to finish a disgusting pack in 3 days. so its like $15.00x 365 is waisting 5, 475 dollars on cancer packets.

It’s been over a month for me now. I had major surgery and was stuck in the hospital for 4 days. So there was my starting point, lol. Once I got home the next several days I was too afraid to smoke for fear of it making me cough and hurting the incision. Week 2 and 3 were the worst but the fear was stronger. Week 4 no cravings at all. Now I’m at week 5, I think it’s safe to say I’ve kicked the habit. Congrats to all who’ve managed to quit as well! :)

This is day 7 for me, and I feel great!
I have been smoking and drinking coffee for fifty years, so decided to quit both.
I quit coffee four weeks ago, and switched to tea, and my psoriasis cleared up. (grin)
Also, it made it easier to quit the smoking, as coffee and cigs always went hand in hand for me.
And everyday I dont smoke I save money, and my dogs dont have to suffer the smell; yep, I feel pretty good about that. (smile)

Just dip tobbaco!
Wheres my 20,000 views?

Over 3 thousand chemicals thats a cocktail. If you want to give up you have to treat it like a alcoholic one day at a time! (I am not going to smoke today!) I’ve been off them for five months, and I go through short periods occassionaly where I feel like I still smoke 40 a day! But one day at a time!

don’t smoke again just be stuborn about it think no f*** you! I am going to breathe better, have more energy, not waste my money, not have to have cigerettes when I leave my home people will say are you still stopped and you will be proud to say “yeah I’m finished with it! When I see someone smoking I think it looks so trampy in a way it didn’t ten or fifthteen years ago it makes a person look like a total chavy idiot, no cancer or emphysema for me! Save my cash like Braveheart says”Freedom!”

Let me ask you something……..when you quit and you’ve tried almost everything and you find yourself tearing up the house looking for a cig, can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t do anything really? You want to call it a habit……NO IT’S AN ADDICTION EVEN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY IS RECOGNIZING IT AS A TRUE ADDICTION!!!!!

It’s great to embrace the withdrawal feeling rather than fear it…but what I don’t understand is that they tell you to wait a few days and this method will work - when in a few days the nicotine pretty much goes out of your system anyway and the withdrawals are pretty much gone anyway.

This is almost like the method to get rid of high anxiety.
